Today something extremely rare has come over me... I am speechless! (Thank goodness I can still type!) I opened my inbox this morning to the news that Zenterior has been awarded the Best of Houzz award for 2019.
I am no stranger to Houzz, indeed I had set up the previous company I worked for on the platform (which basically works as a combination of Pinterest and TripAdvisor for interior design) and had won a number of awards there, but to land an award with my new company after just six months trading is more than I could have hoped for in my wildest dreams.
Everyone says that the first three years of business are the hardest, and I knew that making the move to set up my own company was a big step to take from the relative security of an employed position, but I knew that this was the only way to be in complete control of ensuring that I am 100% proud of the work we do as a company.
I am so proud of what we have achieved over the last six months. The team have worked tirelessly and with so much enthusiasm and attention to detail, I cannot thank them enough.
And so we press on into 2019 as an award winning interior design company. Long may it continue.
