Zenterior's bespoke curtains are hand-sewn in Cornwall in our own workrooms and are available with various lining options including blackout and interlining. We have accounts with most fabric design companies, so whatever your taste we will be able to find the right fabric for you. We are confident that you will not find better quality curtains at the competitive prices we offer.
We can make any heading required, including shaped, apex or caravan curtains. Our most popular curtain headings are the classic Pencil Pleat, a formal Pinch Pleat or the modern and minimalist Wave heading. Which ever heading you go for our measuring and fitting service ensures they hang beautifully and look every bit the luxurious bespoke product they are.
As interior specialists, we come out and measure for you so we know that we are making the best recommendations for you and your space. Making your curtains in house means that we have complete control over the quality of the products we supply and excellent hands on knowledge of how different fabrics work.
As a rule of thumb, we tend to use blackout lining for bedroom curtains and interlining with thinner fabrics or where extra insulation is required. Interlined curtains have added weight and plushness that give that added luxury feel. Unlined or sheer curtains have their own allure. They let the sunlight through with a gentle diffusing quality that also shows off the weave of the fabric itself. This works particularly well with beautiful slubby linens or loose weaves.
Putting borders or trims on curtains can instantly give them a wow factor. We often use these to highlight an accent colour, or to put a modern twist on a traditional design. We have created some entirely bespoke designs, like a gently frayed edge on a loose weave to create a fringe effect or making a stripe in the perfect colours by joining plain materials. Having our own workrooms gives us the freedom to play with ideas and create something truly unique.
